What’s Your Current? TAG

Hey gorgeous-es, I’m back!

Firstly, I apologise for not uploading a post on Saturday. I was in bed, sick with a bad headcold/flu.

However, today I’m doing the

I created this Tag and it’s basically a TMI Tag to do with everything that you’re currently (as in right now, today) using, wearing, thinking, eating – basically anything that you can think of. So let’s jump straight into it.

What’s your current …

Go-to snack?

I have loved the Be Natural products for a number of years, but I have had a hiatus from their muesli bars for a lengthy period of time. However, the other day The Mother stepped in and brought home a box of bars that have not long come out. I have been happily munching on the Be Natural Deluxe Trail Bars – Dark Chocolate and Berry Blend. OH. MY. GOD. They are so delicious. They taste like a healthy Cherry Ripe. They’re not too sweet, but not too ‘nutty’ either. Perfect snack.

Body Wash?

Anatomicals ‘100% Not Chanel, But Cocoa All The Same’ Cocoa Body Cleanser. At around $8 a pop, it’s affordable, deliciously scented, refreshing … Put simply, it’s perfection in a pump.

Razor?

Schick Silk Effects Plus Razor.

Towel colour?

Turquoise.

Book that you’re reading?

All Pam’s Poems by Pam Ayres.

Moisturiser?

Sukin Sensitive Facial Moisturiser and I will never use another moisturiser. (I wear this all day, everyday and you should definitely try it out for yourself. It does come in a formula for ‘normal’/non-sensitive skin).

Foundation?

I have to say, I’m not really a fan of foundation. Is it just me, or does it just look really … fake? Even when expertly applied, it still tends to look like you’ve just smashed your face into a coffee cream pie. Therefore, I use BB cream, usually around my nose, under my eyes and on any blemishes I have. (I only apply it to my entire face when I have a function, like school photos or a party). I use NATIO Pure Mineral Skin Perfecting BB Cream SPF 15.  TOP TIP: Apply moisturiser before applying foundation/BB cream – it helps it to glide on more easily., meaning that you need less of the product, thereby saving you money. Voila!

Mascara?

I can’t even read the writing on the mascara anymore as it’s worn off, so I shall have to resort to Google and have a squiz at the NATIO website … Aha! NATIO Extreme Volume Mascara in Brown/Black. I HIGHLY recommend this mascara – it doesn’t get all clumpy and lumpy, it adds volume, length and a little bit of sexiness to your lashes.

Lip Colour?

As a base, I apply my Lanolips 101 Fruities Ointment in Peach, however, I lost my Ointment (sob), so I’ve had to resort back to Lucas’ Paw Paw Ointment, which I dislike to put on my lips. I find it thick and like I’m dragging caramel across my lips. However, as a primary colour, I’m using (and LOVING) my Australis Colour Inject Moisturising Mineral Lipstick in Salsa.

Perfume?

Call me a Granny, but I’ve recently started wearing my Diorella by Christian Dior perfume. It has warm tones, without being sickly sweet and when I wear it, I feel like my Grandma is embracing me in her illegally comforting arms.

Outfit?

Anokhi Oriental-style blouse with a pattern of teal, beige and pink flowers, random dark brown belt, Ava & Ever button-up denim skirt, random orange bead bracelet, random purpley-pink bead bracelet, Lovisa watch and Betts ‘Coast’ sandals in Tan.

Pet peeve?

I am a Grammar Nazi, so definitely incorrect grammar. The wrong ‘they’re’, the wrong ‘you’re’ … *grrr*.

Style crush?

Alexa Chung.

That girl got ‘tude, undeniable beauty and is a hilarious writer.

Relationship status?

Single.

Favourite quote?

TB to Dead Poets’ Society … carpe diem.

Main goal?

To keep writing and to form a great network of blogging friends, spreading my ideas and stories all over the world and help to provide an – er – interesting take on things.

Mood?

Slightly stressed about a Maths test I have tomorrow, but other than that, relaxed and looking forward to having a bath.

Alarm Time?

5:50am.

Obsession?

Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask with Strawberry & Yarrow.  I can’t even BEGIN to describe how AMAZING this product is. I picked up a sample sachet from Priceline yesterday for $1.59 and – oh my God – am in love. It glides on effortlessly. A little goes a long way. When it dries, it doesn’t become hard and uncomfortable. It’s easy to remove. It smells fruity and fresh but not fake and artificial. If (and when) I am still obsessed with this mask, I will be making the trip back to Priceline to get the full size tube (for just $6.99), as well as a few other things from Formula 10.0.6. Honestly, I cannot rate this product highly enough. It’s perfect.

Prize Possession?

YouTube and the blogging world.

‘Most-Wanted’ Wish List?

Sukin Sensitive Calming Night Cream

Sukin Antioxidant Eye Serum

Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Everyday Cleanser Sensitive Formula with Cucumber and Sea Kelp

Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask

Formula 10.0.6 One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub

Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Cleansing Facial Wipes

I hope that you enjoyed this Tag. I tag Diana, Caryl and Laura

And of course – I tag YOU!

  1. Ok, so I was devouring this post and laughing at the coffee cream pie thing and caramel dragging on lips (your humour man, just gets me!) and then I’ve just seen my name! I thought it couldn’t possibly be me, but boy oh boy am I excited! Thank you so much for tagging me, Bea!! I’ll definitely think about it, as tags are not my cup of tea (yet)…so who knows! These questions are particularly fun!
P.S.: I have the same pet peeve. I also have to watch Dead Poets Society for the 8th time. Like for real. Haha xx
